Hey everyone, welcome back to POISED! We are counting down the days for Baby Girl Grant's arrival. Chris and I are excited to meet her and are getting our affairs in order. As we prepare the nursery and gather materials for the hospital bag, I also wondered how I could continue to incorporate self-care into my daily routine. If you're a frequent reader or follow me on social media, then you know self-care is essential. Although my time will be limited with taking care of the baby (with the help from my awesome husband), I still want to take care of myself, so I am the best mom and wife.

I love to incorporate getting dressed into my self-care routine. I know taking the initiative to get up, put your makeup on, do your hair, and get dressed during a pandemic can be challenging. It is so easy to roll out of bed, throw on a pair of sweats, and call it a day. However, I have found taking the time to get dressed and prep for the day puts me in the right mindset to tackle the day with confidence. Let's be honest; when you look good, you feel good.
