WFH Glam
Hey Everyone! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. As we continue to self-quarantine and maintain social distancing, I want to encourage everyone that amid the uncertainty, stress, and anxiety, know that you are not alone. We serve a God who is faithful, a peacemaker, and a provider. We will get through this knowing and believing He is in control. I want to send extra love to our healthcare workers (a special shoutout to my best friend, Taylor Graham, and LS Phyllis Weech). Thank you for your sacrifice and your service!
I don't know about some of you, but unfortunately, I am still on the clock during the quarantine. In the words of one of our fabulous partners, "this is not a snow-day!" That means billable hours, conference calls, and deadlines are still in full effect. Although I'm working remotely, that does not mean I can't look and feel my best. You never know when your boss may want an impromptu video conference call, and you don't want to be that person who looks like she just woke up.
Check out below the products I've been using for a quick quarantine/ working remotely glam look.
Step 1: Primer - Currently, I am loving NARS Radiance Primer. It gives a natural glow and holds my foundation all day!
Step 2: Brows - Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Eyebrow Pencil & 24-Hr Brow Setter will always be my favorite brow duo. I use the eye pencil to fill in my brows and the brow setter to set and add fullness to my brows.
Step 3: Foundation - Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation was my go-to foundation for the winter. I love the color and natural finish. I'm also a fan of NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation. I will probably return to this foundation for the spring and summer because it is so good!
Step 4: Concealer - Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind is incredible! I use it to conceal under my eyes and around my frown lines to create a smooth canvas. Next, I set with Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder.
Step 5: Bronzer - Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk'r in Bajan Gyal is amazing! I use their bronzer to warm up my face and add color to my eye crease. I don't like a lot of eyeshadow for work. The Sun Stalk'r bronzer adds enough color to make me look alive and awake.
Step 6: Blush - Currently, I am obsessed with NARS Blush in Orgasm X or Anastasia Beverly Hills Peachy Love Blush Trio. Both colors are gorgeous and add the perfect amount of color that is subtle but still makes a statement.
Step 7: Mascara - Next, I use NARS Climax Mascara. I also love Maybelline's Colossal Big Shot x Shayla Mascara. Both are the perfect shade of black and add volume and length to my baby eyelashes.
Step 8: Lips - I finish everything with NARS Afterglow Lip Balm in Orgasm or Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow, depending on my vibe for the day.
Voila! We have a quick glam look for the next video conference or if you just want to get dressed up for the day!
